Bastejkalna apkārtnē: Franču maiznīca

With my back to Bastejkalns here is the view to the Franču maiznīca on Basteja bulvāris.
I think the owner/baker Bernārs Laranē has 3 or 4 outlets around center city Riga. Today I discovered the one that is located on Ģertrūdes iela not far from Rimī. He uses a bicycle, regardless of the weather conditions, to move from patisserie to patisserie. Read more about him in this 2008 article:
